Basic cleaning
Use a soft-bristled brush to remove lint. Brush in one direction for best results. Watch the video here.
Deep cleaning
If your hat needs more attention or has minor deformations, use steam from a kettle. Apply the steam and gently brush in one direction.
Correction of deformations
Using your fingers and steam, shape the hat back to its original shape.
Lint Removal
Use the adhesive side of a lint removal tape to effectively remove lint.
Severe damage
If your hat has significant damage, it is best to take it to a professional for repair.
Dust removal
If your hat only has dust on it, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove it.
Cleaning with a damp cloth
Use a cloth slightly dampened with water to clean a small area as a test, then continue with the rest of the hat. Finish by wiping the entire surface with a dry cloth.
Stain removal
Use a white pencil eraser on the stained areas. This method is effective, but it's not recommended for colored hats, as it can alter the tone.
